What’s needed?
- No experience needed! Height, age, fitness levels are not a barrier
- 5 friends/colleagues to make a crew, or
- Register as an individual and we’ll find you a crew
- A willingness to give it a go
- Ability to tread water and swim 50 metres
What we provide:
- Boats and safety equipment
- Trained and experienced coaches
- Up to 3 water-based training sessions per week, with one in the weekend
- Two core fitness sessions a week
- WRC season T-shirts for all crews
- End of Season regatta and prizegiving
What does it cost?
- Per person it is $36.25 per week, or $435 for the season
- For a crew of 5 the cost is $2175 for the season
- Plus, additional costs for 2-day rowing camp in Whanganui (All costs GST inclusive)
