The Wellington Rowing Association in partnership with the Wellington City Council and Sport Wellington are offering the Row4Gold again in 2021 from May-October (starting date to be determined) for Year 11 + 12 rowers and coxswains. This year is slightly different in that they are running it for emerging instead of developing athletes. The extended programme name is Row4Gold - Emerging Rowing Group (ERG).

They are looking for a small group of coaches to lead this group. The programme will include on water training, strength and conditioning sessions as well as seminars hosted by the WRA. The group will also compete in one of Whanganui's long distance races towards the end of the winter.

Training sessions will look to take place every fortnight, usually for 4 hours on a weekend day. The strength and conditioning sessions will be run by High Performance NZ so will not be led by the R4G - ERG coaches. There may be a weekend camp included which the coaches would be required at.
